The purpose of JaxDance is to test the impossibilities of the physical through endurance, speed, and stillness while challenging the imaginative human state. By exploring the spaces between the bones to achieve a boneless body of liquid movement, contrasted with the strength of physical, mental and emotional intensities of frozen sculpted stillness.

Jackie Moynahan’s Searching for Unconditional
is a choreographic performance art piece designed to pull forth what relationships
ultimately birth – kernels of discovery. The piece is an emotional ride that combines
liquid movement and stillness to create a darkly comic mood, while exploring how it feels to be loved and in love.
